Blogging is the most recommended means of making money online in Cameroon and in the world at large now. This is because it is an activity of creating content based on your own knowledge to satisfy and interested audience and also advertising to your audience through adds so as to be paid after an add is viewed.

So how do you go about it?

Step 1: Make a plan:

                Making a plan is important for anything you want to do in life but even more important when it comes to creating and running a blog. If you fail to plan, you risk making terrible mistakes in the future which can lead to total failure of your blog and the loss of potential cash which you would have earned. Planning involves the following

 choosing a suitable niche for your blog.

Your blogging niche is simply what your blog is all about. For example, if you are good at cooking you can create a cooking blog and so on. Therefore, it will be advisable to blog on a niche you are familiar with.

Decide on running a free blog or a payed blog.

This decision is based on the quality and quantity of the blog you want. A simple and personal blog that does not require a lot of capabilities is preferable to be a free blog. While a more advanced blog is payed for.

                This step is where you start the actual blogging. It is advisable at this stage not to focus on the money you make or the number of people visiting your blog but rather on producing quality content for your blog. Also, make sure your content is unique and don’t copy other peoples content because this will affect you negatively in the future.

Step 3: connect your blog to google adds

                This step is simply the main source of income for your blog. Google AdSense allows you to display adds on your blog.

Every time someone clicks on an add displayed on your blog, you earn some money for displaying the advertisement. It is also important not to click your adds yourself because google AdSense tracks and punishes such activities.

Step 4: Keep posting on your blog

                This is important to keep your audience busy, generate a greater audience and keep on making money through your adds. It is also advisable not to overpopulate your blog with adds as this may cause your audience experience on the blog to be very poor and thereby causing a fall in audience number.

Step 5: Find and use key words in your blog titles.

                This is vital to enable your blog to be more visible in search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo and so on.

                This is important because it makes your audience to be able to interact and also send feedback to you as that is what social media is all about. This can help make your blog more professional and brings more visitors to your blog. This makes your blog look more professional and adds to your viewers experience positively.
